Carroll County Health Department Halts Distribution of Birth and Death Certificates
A staffing shortage has put a stop on all birth and death certificates issued from the Carroll County Health Department.
Due to a temporary staffing shortage, the Carroll County Health Department will not be offering the convenience of directly issuing birth and death certificates from Feb. 13 to April 9 at its Westminster building, according to a press release.
Those wishing or needing a birth or death certificate can obtain those documents by contacting the State's Division of Vital Records (DVR) at 410-764-3038 or 800-832-3277.
Birth and Death Certificates can also be obtained online at DVR's website here.
