Carroll County Man Killed in Crash into Tree: Police

A 23-year-old Hampstead man died in a single-vehicle crash in northwest Baltimore County Friday morning, police said.

Michael T. Harris was pronounced dead at the scene in the 1900 block of Brick Store Road at 1:50 a.m. on Friday, according to a report from the Baltimore County Police Department.

Harris, of the 2100 block of Cape Horn Road in Hampstead, had been driving a 1993 Acura Integra when the vehicle left the road and crashed into a tree, police said.

According to the report, the investigation is ongoing, and it was not clear what caused the crash.
