Carrolltown Liquors Collects Food For Local Families in Need

in Eldersburg is looking to give back this holiday season and needs the community's help in donating canned food to those in need.

All food collected through Friday, Dec. 16 will be donated to the Carroll County Food Sunday at St. Joseph’s Church in Eldersburg.

The local liquor store offers 5 percent off of wine purchases for customers who bring in two cans, 10 percent off for customers who bring in three cans, and 15 percent off for customers who bring in four or more cans.

In addition to the food drive, Carrolltown will be auctioning off a bottle of Sam Adams Utopia and two bottles of Van Winkle Bourbon, all proceeds of which will be donated to the Boy Scouts of America. The auction winners will be announced December 19.
