Commissioner Howard to Present BRAC Process in Columbia Wednesday
Commissioners Roush and Frazier and County business and economic development officials, will be in attendance.

Carroll County Commissioner Doug Howard will be presenting the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) process at the BRAC Business Initiative meeting to "highlight Carroll County’s many advantages for businesses looking to relocate as the BRAC process moves forward," according to a government press release.
Also in attendance will be Commissioners Roush and Frazier, County business and economic development officials, as well as representatives from St. John Properties, Warfield Development Corporation, the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, Carroll Community College and the City of Taneytown.
Carroll County is "a premium place to locate a business and is uniquely situated to handle BRAC-related businesses," according to the release.

"Carroll County has helped us immeasurably, more so than any other county we have done business with," said Jerry Wilt, Senior Vice President for Marketing, St. John Properties.

The meeting will take place at The Other Barn, 5851 Robert Oliver Place in Columbia at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
