Cars! Camels! & Chocolate! In Cooper Park!? Combine them all together and you have Countdown to Easter @ Cooper Park on Sunday, April 13, from 3-6pm at Millard Cooper Park (located next to Sykesville Middle School). This FREE event has something for everyone to enjoy and is intended to entertain and excite people in our community of all ages. The afternoon will feature classic and modern show cars, a puppet musical, pony rides, petting zoo, moonbounce, hot dog, clowns and much more! Those who attend are eligible to win tickets to the sweetest place on earth--a four-pack of tickets to Hershey Park!
The festivities will take place throughout the park. Cameron Camel, our puppet TV host, brings to the audience his top five Easter songs in Countdown to Easter a 27-minute puppet musical performed by the Power Puppet Crew. There will be two performances at 3:45 and 5:15pm. The car show will showcase the best of cars from both the classic and modern eras. Car lovers of all ages will also be able to vote for their favorite car.
