DEALS AND EVENTS FOR COUPLES IN OCTOBER!

It’s time to take a break and schedule a date! During the entire month of October, Date Night Carroll is offering couples a deals and events to encourage them to spend time together on a date. To participate, simply go to the program’s website, (www.datenightcarroll.org), to find incentives and opportunities to date your spouse/mate in Carroll County through deals and special events offered by local businesses and organizations.

One of the highlights of Date Night Carroll is “TownMall Date Night” scheduled for Saturday, October 11th, which includes live entertainment, dancing and prizes at TownMall’s (Westminster, MD) Belk Court. TownMall Date Night is hosted by TownMall and the Marriage & Relationship Education Center. Sponsors include: Battery Warehouse, Communications Electronics and Carroll County Downtowns.

Kim Paulsen, Date Night Carroll’s Project Coordinator, says the deals and events for couples are still coming in, “We have added more sponsors to our program, and expect to get repeat business participation this year. Plus we have new dating options for couples, such as dinner and bowling packages at Thunderhead Bowl and Grill in Tawneytown, a “Sweetheart” dinner with live music by a Frank Sinatra Tribute artist at Legends (in TownMall), and a two-for-one miniature golf date with free ice cream at Four Seasons Sports Complex in Hampstead.”

Date Night Carroll is a research-based, month-long public awareness campaign launched in 2013 by The Marriage and Relationship Education Center (www.mrecenter.org). MREC was established in 2007 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization servicing the Carroll County area. The mission of MREC is to strengthen families through marriage and relationship education, partnerships and public awareness efforts.
