Eldersburg MARTIN’S announces nutritionist class schedule for November

Joni Rampolla, RDN, LDN, in-store nutritionist at the Eldersburg MARTIN’S Food Markets announces the November schedule of free classes. Classes meet within the Eldersburg MARTIN’S at 1320 Londontown Blvd. All of these classes are free, but registration is required by calling 410-552-5107.

The November schedule of classes includes:

Healthy Holiday Eating for Diabetes, Thursday, Nov. 10 from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. or 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Meets in the nutritionist’s office; Free; Teens & Adults; Registration required

Learn some healthy holiday eating tips that will help control your diabetes at the same time. Our in-store nutritionist and specially-trained pharmacist will show you how to celebrate the holidays with your favorite foods while keeping those blood sugars in check. Leave with practical tips, recipes and motivation for a healthy holiday season!

Weight Management Store Tour, Saturday, Nov. 12, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Meets in produce; Free for adults

Join Joni for a walking tour to learn how to shop to control your weight.

Take It Off Tuesday: Weight Loss Support Group, Tuesday, Nov. 15, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. or 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Meets in the nutritionist’s office; Free for adults

Struggling to lose those pesky pounds? Come to the monthly Weight Loss Support Group led by our in-store nutritionist. Interact with other group members, learn some helpful hints, sample some new healthier foods to help you reach your nutrition goals, and above all, get support!

In addition, if you need help losing weight or managing a health condition or food allergy, you can also schedule an individual consultation with Joni. Individual consultations are $20 and participants receive back a $20 MARTIN’S gift card upon completion.
