Slow-moving storms will move across the region Tuesday afternoon and evening, capable of heavy rainfall in areas that are already saturated, the weather service reports.
One foot of water is enough to sweep a vehicle off the road, according to the weather service, which cautioned flood waters are usually deeper than they seem. If drivers see flooding on roads, they should remember: “Turn around—don’t drown.”
