Concert

Springfield Presbyterian Church continues into it's 4th year of concerts with the Carroll County Ramblers on the 14th of August.  The concert will be about 1 1/2 hours long with an ice cream social following the performance.  Admission is free, but a free will offering will be collected which will go to offset the cost of the concert.

The Carroll County Ramblers have won the reputation of being one of the finer bluegrass groups in the industry. Hit songs such as “Story of The Ransom Wreck”, “Country Roads” and “Grandma’s Sewing Machine” have made them a favorite with festival, fair and concert audiences across the country. Their showmanship, tight vocal harmonies and down-home stage presence have led to various radio and T.V. appearances. The Ramblers have also appeared at prestigious venues like The Kennedy Center, The Lincoln Center and The Wheeling Jamboree. Since their founding, the band has traveled many miles to entertain enthusiasts of traditional bluegrass music, never sacrificing their high ideals of producing the highest quality performances possible.
