Meet Author Chris Grabenstein
at Carroll County Public Library


Carroll County, MD—Meet New York Times bestselling author Chris Grabenstein at the Carroll County Public Library. The Eldersburg Branch Library will host the author on Wednesday, November 9 at 6:30 pm, and the author will appear at the Finksburg Branch Library on Thursday, November 10 at 6:30 pm. Both events are open to ages 10 and over with books available for purchase and signing at each event.


With a Jersey shore backdrop,the bestselling author mixes in pancakes, an Iraq War veteran, beer & ice cream, and a whole lot of the unexpected for a thrill ride to beat anything on the pier! Fun House, the seventh book in his award-winning Ceepak mystery series, will be published in May 2012. Since Mr. Grabenstein won the Anthony Award for First Best Mystery in 2006 for Tilt A Whirl, he has followed it with five more featuring the crime-fighting duo John Ceepak and Danny Boyle: Mad Mouse, Whack A Mole, Hell Hole, Mind Scrambler, and Rolling Thunder.

In addition to the Ceepak series, which has been optioned for a television series, the prolific writer has produced holiday thrillers and numerous mysteries for middle schoolers.

A former improv comedian, he has written for advertising and television including Jim Henson's Muppets and The Christmas Gift for CBS with John Denver. Despite his many achievements, he may be most proud of his dog Fred. The family dog starred on Broadway in CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG. See his photos and story on the Grabenstein website.
