Graduates of the Historic Sykesville Colored Schoolhouse will share stories of growing up in the face of poverty, illiteracy and segregation in Sykesville. The students, now in their 80's and 90's will describe how they went on to make valuable contributions to their community. Refreshments will be served following the presentation.
