In the last concert in our 2013-2014 series we will feature the wonderful bluegrass group, The Carroll County Ramblers. We have had them in a past series, and were happy they wanted to come back to make another appearance. The concert will be followed by an ice cream social.... so come, bring the kids and your friends to have a wonderful afternoon of music and ice cream! More about the group follows:
The Carroll County Ramblers have won the reputation of being one of the finer bluegrass groups in the industry. Hit songs such as “Story of The Ransom Wreck”, “Country Roads” and “Grandma’s Sewing Machine” have made them a favorite with festival, fair and concert audiences across the country. Their showmanship, tight vocal harmonies and down-home stage presence
have led to various radio and T.V. appearances. The Ramblers have also appeared at prestigious venues like The Kennedy Center, The Lincoln Center and The Wheeling Jamboree.
Since their founding, the band has traveled many miles to entertain enthusiasts of traditional bluegrass music, never sacrificing their high ideals of producing the highest quality performances possible.
