Free Rita's Italian Ice in Eldersburg on Friday

For many people, the first day of spring means a free cup of Italian ice at Rita’s.

The chain is offering free Italian ice from noon to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 20, for its annual “First Day of Spring Celebration.”

Those who share pics of themselves with their ice on social media and tag them #RitasFirstDayOfSpring will be entered to win free prizes such as free Rita’s for a year.

The limit is one free Italian ice per guest.
