The Goddard School Donates New & Used Books

Preschoolers Collect Over 45,000 Books and $1,600 for Maryland Book Bank

For the past two weeks, The Goddard School preschools in Baltimore have been collecting books for the Maryland Book Bank. The book drive was initiated to recognize National Reading Month and to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday. The preschoolers exceeded their ambitious goal of 20,000 books and ended up with a grand total of 45,137 books and $1600 in additional funds to present to the book bank! The donation was made on March 13th at 11 a.m. The Maryland Book Bank is a non-profit organization that collects and redistributes new and used books to people in need.
