Hoods Mill Landfill to Increase Hours

Need to hit the landfill but can’t make it during the week? Now you can dump your stuff in Woodbine on the weekend, every weekend.

The Carroll County Board of County Commissioners recently voted to extend the hours at the Hoods Mill Landfill, so it will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday.

Previously, the landfill was only open on the first and third Saturdays of the month.

The new hours take effect starting Saturday, Sept. 6.

Hoods Mill Landfill is at 7901 Kabik Court in Woodbine.
