Integrace Copper Ridge Completes “30 Days of Giving”
Community Staff, Resident Families and Neighbors Collect Donations for 14 Local Organizations
Integrace Copper Ridge, a nationally-recognized innovator in dementia support based in Sykesville, Md., is promoting the spirit of giving this holiday season as it completes its “30 Days of Giving” campaign.
Between November 1 and December 2, Copper Ridge encouraged staff, family members of residents, and residents of the surrounding neighborhood to donate different items each day for deserving local charities. Items collected included canned food, clothing, winter coats, scarves, gloves, hats, blankets, books, eye glasses, towels, pet food, used ink cartridges and more.
In all, 14 local charities will receive donations, including: Carroll County Humane Society, Goodwill, American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, Howard County Humane Society, Carroll County Cold Weather Shelter, Carroll Hospice Dove House, New Life For Girls, South Carroll Food Pantry, Lions Club, Little Sisters of the Poor, Westminster Rescue Mission, The Shepherd’s Staff, and Building Families for Children.

Copper Ridge also collected holiday cards that will be delivered to veterans and military families at Fisher House.
“We are so proud of the success of this year’s 30 Days of Giving, and are honored that so many people will benefit from the generosity of our extended Copper Ridge family this holiday season,” said Teresa Smith, executive assistant, Integrace Copper Ridge. “We express our sincerest gratitude to everyone who contributed, including our staff, our resident families, the staff at the Integrace executive office, and our neighbors in the Hawk Ridge Community.”
