Interstate 70 Reopens After Tractor Trailer Incident: Reports

Due to a collision, Interstate 70 was closed to westbound traffic temporarily Thursday morning, transportation officials said.
- The Maryland State Highway Administration is asking drivers to stay off the roads as conditions deteriorate due to snow.
At 10 a.m., the crash was reported on I-70 before MD 27 in Carroll County, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).
Two tractor-trailers got stuck on a hill, WBAL reported.

At 10:30 a.m., I-70 west was completely closed, according to the State Highway Administration.
By 11:15 a.m., the incident was moved to the left lanes and left shoulder, state transportation officials said.

Traffic was just barely getting by the wreck on the right, WNEW reported at 11:26 a.m.
At 11:30 a.m., transportation officials said the crash had cleared.
