Shred Mill to Hold Free Sykesville Shredding Event

The local, family owned business will offer free shredding services to residents Saturday.

The Shred Mill, a local woman owned and family operated business will bring shredding to Sykesville Saturday, offering free services at the on Main Street.

"We are hoping for a good turn out to let people know they have a local choice when it comes to shredding," said Peggy Rogers, owner of The Shred Mill.

The Shred Mill, based in Sykesville has been in business for close to four years, providing document destruction and paper recycling services to commercial and residential customers.

Rogers' shredding business is also on a roll. She brings her family-owned business directly to customers with her mobile services.

"Since we are a mobile shred company, we go where ever the work is," said Rogers. "Some of our events have been in Severna Park, Pikesville, Ellicott City and Towson. But since we live in Sykesville and are local residents we want to make sure we are the shredding company of choice for our hometown."

The event takes place between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at 7547 Main Street in Sykesville, simply enter parking lot behind to rear parking lot of Town House.
