"Spring Break In Sykesville"

“Spring Break in Sykesville” brings FREE family fun and excitement to the Town of Sykesville on Sunday, April 19 from 3:00 to 6:00pm at Cooper Park (located next to Sykesville Middle School). The event features a car show with cars from the classic and modern eras, an opportunity to win a four-pack of tickets to Hershey Park -- The Sweetest Place on Earth (winner announced at 5:45pm), and two 20-minute puppet performances of “Fun in the Son” -- a concert with plenty of Spring Break beach music and fun. Remakes of songs from the Beach Boys, Kiss and The Doors will be performed.

To stir up the Spring Break spirit in everyone, there will be FREE pony rides, a petting zoo, moon bounce, games, face painting, clowns, balloon animals, Grilled Cheese & Co. sandwich samples, hot dogs, and MUCH MORE! The car show will showcase the best classic and modern cars from the surrounding area. Registration for the car show is still open and will take place the day of event beginning at 2:00pm. “Spring Break in Sykesville” provides everyone an opportunity to slow down and visit their neighbors during a fun-filled day.

The event is another LoveLoud event provided by your friends and neighbors at Friendship Baptist Church.
