State Police Charge Incarcerated Pa. Man in Three Carroll County Armed Robberies

A man currently in custody in Pennsylvania is being charged in connection with three recent armed robberies in Eldersburg, Sykesville, and Westminster, according to a Maryland State Police press release.Â
Jacob Michael White-Brosenne, 22, of Applejack Road in Littlestown, Pa., is being held at the York County Pennsylvania Detention Center and is awaiting extradition to Maryland to face charges related to the crimes, according to the release.
White-Brosenne will attend a hearing regarding his extradition to Maryland sometime in the next 10 days.Â

Troopers from the Westminster Barrack were notified late Tuesday night by the Penn Township Police Department in Pennsylvania that they had just arrested White-Brosenne for breaking into motor vehicles. The Penn Township officers were aware of the recent robberies in Carroll County and believed White-Brosenne matched the description previously supplied to them by Westminster Barrack troopers, according to police.Â
Criminal investigators from the Westminster Barrack worked with local and state police in Pennsylvania to seize evidence and conduct interviews that led to warrants being issued for White-Brosenne. Troopers also executed search warrants at White-Brosenne’s Littlestown home, seizing evidence related to the Maryland robberies, according to the release.Â

White-Brosenne is being charged with the Feb. 18Â armed robbery of a man outside of Cobblestone Tavern and Grill in Eldersburg and the Quick Stop Mini-Mart on Village Road in Sykesville.
He is also being charged with the Feb. 20Â armed robbery of the Royal Farms Convenience Store on Baltimore Boulevard in Westminster.
State police and other Carroll County police agencies are looking into White-Brosenne's possible connection to other area thefts and burglaries. White-Brosenne was operating a 1989 Ford F-150 Pickup that is dull black with grey primer when arrested in Pennsylvania. A vehicle of that description was observed in conection with one or more of the robberies in Maryland, according to the release.Â
