Sykesville Salon Looks to Raise Money for Young Victims of Abuse
Samsara is looking for the community's help in donating money to children who are victims of abuse.
While you're out shopping for your loved ones this holiday season, one local business is asking that you keep in mind children suffering from abuse and help donate to a good cause.
on Main Street Sykesville is raising awareness of children who are victims of abuse. The salon has partnered with shampoo line Eufora to donate money to Child Help, an organization that has dedicated its efforts toward the prevention, intervention and treatment of child abuse and neglect.
"Many of these kids have never had a Holiday season worthy of celebration and wish lists are foreign to them, we are asking our guests and the community to help us rally around these kids to give them an unforgettable Christmas," said Samsara stylist Jennifer Shinderman. "Anyone can stop by and donate to this very worthy cause."

The salon is selling angels for $1, $5, and $10 that will be used to decorate the windows on Main Street.
"With recent news focusing on how terribly children are treated we want to do something about it, and we can," said Shinderman.
