(UPDATED 2:30 p.m.) Tanker Truck Carrying Propane Overturned On I-70

A tanker truck carrying propane fuel was overturned in an accident around 9:40 a.m. Sunday on Eastbound I-70. 

All lanes of I-70 between Route 94 and Route 27 were closed while the truck was moved. As of 2 p.m., the tanker truck was upright and the right westbound lane of I-70 has been reopened, according to the State Highway Administration. 

No fuel leaked during the accident but transporting the vehicle could cause a leak to occur, according to Maryland State Police. 

Two people operating the truck were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
