Tristar Martial Arts Warriors raise almost $3000 for Breast cancer programs!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On October 26th, Tristar Martial Arts Warriors participated in the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure in Hunt Valley. The team consisted of 21 members – some walked and some ran. As a whole, the team raised almost $4,000 between personal donations, various small fundraisers and the sale of Pink Belts that students wore in class the week of October 20th – 25th. All proceeds went to the Susan G Komen Foundation which funds local research and support programs for men and women affected by breast cancer. The event raised over $1,000,000!
