Workers will shut down water service from 8 a.m. to at least 12 p.m near the water main on Stirrup Court in the Freedom water service district, affecting about 14 homes, according to the release.

After that, residents may notice that their restored water is cloudy.

Those people are advised to run their water for several minutes and residents should also refrain from using washing machines, dishwashers and other large appliances while the water is cloudy or experiencing low pressure, according to the release.

The repair will be rescheduled if weather prohibits the work, the release states.
