UPDATE: Weather Announcement from Carroll County Public Schools
School officials announced plans for Thursday, Feb. 26.
Public schools in Carroll County are closed on Thursday, Feb. 26, according to school officials.
Carroll County Public Schools had previously announced a weather delay then declared a closure as the morning progressed. Carroll joins Baltimore City plus Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Harford, Howard, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties in cancelling school Thursday.
Carroll County declared a snow emergency at 8 a.m. With a snow emergency plan in effect, people may not park on streets designated as snow emergency routes.
