1,000 People Without Water in Howard County
Water distribution effort was in effect, government officials said.
Approximately 1,000 residents in Howard County lost water Saturday morning, according to Howard County government.
Government officials reported that emergency water main work in the Deep Run area would cause water to be shut off from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Those impacted were on Old Waterloo Road from Pirch Way to the dead end of Old Waterloo Road, past Waterloo Community Park. Howard County said it was setting up an emergency water distribution area near Pirch Way.

Once the water was back on, there were no anticipated issues as far as safety. “There are no health concerns with this water interruption,” Howard County officials said.
