• Lawyers accuse ICE of overcrowding holding rooms, violating court-mandated limits (thebanner.com) — An ICE processing facility project in Elkridge is moving forward again after a federal judge reinstated permits that Howard County leaders had revoked earlier this year. The ruling comes as another ICE site in downtown Baltimore faces accusations of overcrowding, poor hygiene, and inadequate medical care in alleged violation of a court order. A September hearing will further examine conditions at the Baltimore facility.
