My Mother died on 4-8-13.She was eighty two years old. This had to be the most traumatic time of my life. To watch somebody you love so much go through such pain is one of the most gut wretching things you'll ever endure. Her decision beforehand was cremation. This is what the executrix(my sister) had done. It was discussed that it would be a cremation followed by a private family service and the ashes were going to be put at her graveside next to her husband. About 24 hours went by before my sister and I were told there was not going to be any service. When I called the funeral home to find out when they were going to bury the ashes I was informed that they no longer had the ashes. They were taken home with the executrix to Maryland.(We are from Penna.) I tried calling to find out about this and was hung up on several times. Today I received a letter from her lawyer that I am not to contact the executrix about this matter that it had to be done through his office,as far as they were concerned the matter was closed. She told them that these were my Mother's wishes. If anybody would talk with the other four family members they would confirm this is not true. The things that were done days prior to her death would appall anybody. We only want our Mother to rest in peace where she belongs. Oh, did I forget to mention who the executrix is?
