Elkridge Cheerleader Among Yahoo’s Picks

Next weekend, the Redskins will hold cheerleading tryouts, and in advance, Yahoo published its picks for the 2012 roster. 

On its list of the “Top Five Most Marketable Cheerleaders” was Mila Thompson, who lives in Elkridge.

Thompson, who was born in Japan and has traveled the world as a self-professed “military brat,” currently attends Howard Community College, according to her team bio.

In 2011, she was named the Redskins’ hottest cheerleader by the Bleacher Report.

While she's been cheering for the ‘Skins for the past two seasons, she says in her bio: “I cannot wait to dance on that field when the season starts. My heart is beating faster just thinking about it.”
