Elkridge E-Cycling Company Recognized For Fast Growth

E-Structors, Inc., was recently recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the faster growing companies in the country.

The Elkridge-based electronics recycling firm E-Structors, Inc. has been included in a list of the fastest growing companies in the nation.

E-Structors ranked number 1,388 out of 5,000 businesses on Inc. Magazine's 2011 list of the country's fastest growing businesses. The list ranks businesses by industry and percent of revenue growth over the previous three years; it also measures job creation. 

According to the magazine, E-Structors saw business growth of 205 percent over the last three years. In the meantime the company made $5.6 million in 2010 revenue, up from $1.7 million in revenue in 2007. The  company employes 140 people.

E-Structors provides computer, document, and electronics destruction and recycling services. It was founded in 2003. 

"There were many people who called us crazy at the start," said Mike Keough, E-Structors president and co-founder in a press release announcing the ranking. "Now those same people are trying to catch up to us."

E-Structors received two additional honors on the Inc. 5000 list, as the 29th fastest growing business in the Baltimore area and the 18th fastest growing Environmental Services Business in America.

According to the release, the company is the only certified recycler operating in the state of Maryland.

"This entire experience has been more then we could have ever imagined," Keough stated. "It's truly an honor to be ranked on this list."
