Elkridge Driver Avoids Animal, Hits Guardrail

There were no injuries reported when an Elkridge man crashed into a guardrail in Tremont, PA, according to the Pottsville Republican.

The Pennsylvania newspaper reported that Alvin Garcia, 27, of Elkridge said he swerved to miss an animal before his Saturn Vue went off the road and struck a guardrail on Saturday, March 24.

Garcia lives in a neighborhood off Port Capital Drive in Elkridge, according to court records.

State police said that speeding and wet conditions contributed to Garcia's weekend crash, reported the Pottsville Republican. The incident occurred at 10:35 p.m. on Pennsylvania's Interstate 81.
