The freezing rain is projected to start sometime between 9 and 11 a.m. and continue throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service.

Included in the freezing rain advisory are northwest, central and southeast Howard County; Anne Arundel and Prince George’s counties; northwest, central and southeastern Montgomery County; as well as the District of Columbia and parts of Virginia.

The high in Elkridge on Monday is 36 degrees, according to the forecast from the National Weather Service. Rain is likely to pick up again Tuesday evening and continue throughout Wednesday, according to the forecast. Temperatures are forecast to be in the 40s Tuesday, climbing to the 50s Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
