Grab a blanket and hope for sunny skies! We are celebrating Bellows Spring Elementary's 10th anniversary and the bittersweet retirement of Principal Jackie Klamerus. So come out to help us celebrate! BSES Alumni are welcome to attend!
Bring your own picnic lunch or pre-order a boxed lunch for just $7 each from the Honey Baked Ham Company. Boxed lunches (veggie options available) will be delivered to the school for pick up at 1:15 pm. Deadline for boxed lunches will be Friday, May 29th at 12 noon. For your order, Honey Baked Ham Company will make a do action back to the school.
Other food/snack options for sale include the new Chick-Fil-A food truck, Kona Ice, popcorn, and cotton candy.
FUN!! Families can enjoy free and ticketed options: a train ride and monster slide, 7-course inflatable obstacle course, carnival games, bubbles, rockets, and other surprises by Club Scientific, demonstration by Kangaroo Kids Precision Jumprope Team of Howard County, arts and sports activities, raffles, music and much more!
Tickets for inflatables and carnival games are .50 each or 50 tickets for $20. Many activities will be free for all.
Kids can also bring their bikes and helmets for the Bike Rodeo, hosted
By Howard County Dept of Fire & Rescue and Safe Kids.
Parking at the school will only be available to event staff, vendors and vehicles displaying a handicapped sign. You will be permitted to drop off family members in the school loop and park in the neighborhood. A donated shuttle bus by Bowen's Bus Service will be available for pick up every 15-20 min beginning at 12:45pm and departing from Waterloo Elementary School (5940 Waterloo Rd). We strongly encourage families to carpool, walk or bike to the event.
No alcoholic beverages, large coolers, or glass permitted on the grounds. Your children are your responsibility and must be attended to at all times. Wear comfortable clothing, bring a water bottle and don't forget your sunscreen!
