History and Geology Hike

Meet at the Hilton Area Nature Center for this 2-mile moderate hike.

A volunteer ranger and local geologist will lead the hike, which will include views of the Patapsco River Valley and Bloede’s Dam.

Bring drinking water and wear sturdy shoes.

This is part of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources' series of New Years hikes around the state, called "First Day Hikes."
