Living Well with is a self-management program by Stanford University that teaches various skills and techniques to better manage your chronic condition (arthritis, high blood pressure, COPD, etc). Note: It is not disease specific.
Subjects covered include: nutrition, physical activity, communicating with your doctor and other health care professionals, how to mangage your meds, and getting the most out of life!
Each participant will receive a Living a Healthy Life book as well as a Time for Healing relaxation CD. The 2 ½ hour class runs for 6 weeks. The charge is $28 and includes all materials. Financial assistance is available.
