The 4th annual AFC Sugar Hill XC Mountain Bike race will be at the Avalon area of Patapsco State Park.
The race is hosted by Adventures for the Cures (AFC), with proceeds going to two causes:
- Extreme Weekend For Children with Diabetes, a camp where kids with diabetes learn how to manage their sugar levels while staying physically active. They also get to meet others who share the condition.
- Kupenda for the Children, an organization in Kenya that provides services like physical therapy for children with disabilties.
