Travel to Turkey -- Spring 2013
The Maryland American Turkish Association (MATA) is sponsoring a guided tour to Turkey, this year, under the direction of Ms. Cennet Köse Rivera. Prior to moving to the United States, Cennet worked 14 years for the American Research Institute in Turkey (ARIT), a non-profit organization. Under her capacity as assistant to the director, she organized tours throughout Turkey, and hosted archaeological lectures and receptions for American citizens stationed at the American Embassy, in Ankara, Turkey's capital city.
Cennet has agreed to plan a tour of about 15 days, starting on the 15th of May 2013, to travel throughout Turkey. Current plans include visits to Istanbul, Ankara, Cappadocia, Konya, Antalya, Pamukkale, Ephesus, Bergama, and Izmir. The tour will include food, lodging, and transportation.
If you are interested in joining us, please let Cennet or myself know. To learn more about the details of the trip, please view our itinerary, or visit our Facebook event page.
