Four Elkridge Break-Ins Reported This Week

Police said that in two instances, the residents knew the suspects.

Two people were arrested after breaking into a garage on the 6900 block of Linden Avenue at approximately 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22. Police said the property owner was familiar with the suspects, who were both charged with fourth-degree burglary.

There was an attempted break-in on the 7400 block of Merrymaker Way, reported at 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20. Charges are pending against the suspect, who attempted to enter through the rear window and who was known by the resident.

A break-in was reported at a business yard on Old Washington Road on Tuesday, Dec. 20. Nothing was stolen but a fence was cut to access the property at Alban Power Systems

A TV, video game system and jewelry were stolen from the 5700 block of Main Street, reported on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 11:52 p.m. There was no sign of forced entry.
