Greater Elkridge Police Report: May 25–June 1
The following arrest information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, June 1
- A vehicle struck a bicyclist at the intersection of Marshalee Drive and Montgomery Road in Elkridge at approximately 10:13 a.m., said police. The Hyundai Santa Fe was turning onto Montgomery Road and the Columbia cyclist was crossing the intersection when the 38-year-old male cyclist was struck by the passenger side of the vehicle and suffered minor cuts, said police. There were no citations at the scene, pending further investigation, said officials.
- A person was robbed at gunpoint in a motel parking lot on the 6100 block of Washington Boulevard in Elkridge, reported at 3:16 a.m. Two men displayed a gun then stole the victim’s cell phone, jewelry and car keys. The suspects fled on foot toward Bonnie View Lane. One suspect was described as 6-feet, medium build, and wearing a blue polo shirt and blue jeans. The other suspect was described as 6-feet, medium build, and wearing a white T-shirt.
- On a day when temperatures inched toward 100 degrees, Howard County Fire & Rescue received one resulted in transport of a man “in critical condition,” said officials.
Sunday, May 29
- Elkridge resident Sarah Marie Stebbins, 21, was killed on MD 32 when her with a jersey wall and rolled onto the driver’s side, said police.

- An abandoned vehicle was stuck on the southbound railroad track at Henkels Lane in Annapolis Junction, said police. Between the time the incident was reported at 4:53 p.m. and cleared at 6:15 p.m., officials said that trains were diverted.
Wednesday, May 25
- A U-Haul cargo van with Arizona plates was reported stolen from the 5800 block of Washington Boulevard in Elkridge at 3:18 p.m.
- There was an attempted break-in by cutting a fence at Capitol Express (8100 block of Stayton Drive) in Jessup sometime between Tuesday, May 24, and Wednesday, May 25.
