July 4th picnic at The Elkridge Assembly Rooms (6090 Lawyers Hill Road, Elkridge) on Lawyers Hill is a decades-old tradition. A noontime parade is followed by food, lawn games, hay wagon ride, etc. RSVP at http://lawyershill.wikispaces.com to let them know how many are coming and what food you will be sharing. The Assembly Rooms will provide hamburgers, ham, hot dogs, plates, napkins, flatware, water, tea, and lemonade. The cost is $5 per guest. Please bring your lawn chair and any picnic gear.
