Kolb Electric, serving homeowners and businesses in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. area since 1925, announced today that it has hired Mike Giddings as customer service manager in the Baltimore office. In this role, Giddings will manage the day-to-day operations of Kolb’s new customer call center serving Baltimore City and Baltimore, Howard and part of Anne Arundel Counties.
Giddings has a proven track record of generating leads, sales and revenue in the local home services industry. Prior to joining Kolb Electric, Giddings worked as inbound and outbound sales director for Len The Plumber, Inc. as well as service contracts manager and inbound sales consultant for ARS/Rescue Rooter, LLC.

Earlier this year, Kolb Electric opened a call center in its Baltimore office to better manage incoming phone calls and provide a higher level of service to current and potential customers. Since the call center opened in August 2013, the company’s booking rate (number of inquiry calls converted to appointments), has increased by nearly 30 percent.
