Police said that a man broke into in Elkridge on July 4 and stole an empty cash register.
At approximately 9:50 p.m., police said the man shattered the front door, which is made of glass, with rocks.
The Howard County Police Department provided the following description of the suspect:

- Wearing blue hat
- Clothed in white t-shirt and blue jean shorts
- Wearing black-and-white Nike shoes
