Maria Flores, who owns , was taking things off the restaurant walls Friday afternoon.

"I came back today to pack up little things," said Flores. "Everything else will stay here."

There was one thing she planned to put up: A sign announcing the restaurant's closure.

Friday was the Elkridge restaurant's last day open, after six years of being in business, s she said were a result of the economy.

Flores said some customers who came for lunch on July 20 told her they would visit her Catonsville restaurant of the same name, which will remain open. She said: "Many of them work here [in Elkridge] and live over there."

is located at 801 Frederick Road. It's open every day except Sunday.
