Friday, Feb. 25

Two passengers were ejected from a Crown Victoria traveling southbound on MD-32 in Dayton around 1:45 p.m. after a crash into a guardrail sent their vehicle up into the air. , according to police, who are investigating the incident.

Wednesday, Feb. 23

A vehicle struck a pedestrian at the in lower Elkridge at approximately 11:43 a.m., according to police. The incident occurred during an argument between two parties who knew each other, said officials, and the victim was treated for minor injuries at Howard County General Hospital.

Tuesday, Feb. 22

At 2:19 a.m., a brown 2002 Ford F-350 was reported stolen from a truck stop on the 7400 block of Assateague Drive in Jessup.

Sunday, Feb. 20

An Elkridge man was arrested following break-ins on the 6100 block of Rainbow Drive, according to Howard County police. Steven Alphonso Ralph Williams, 18, of 6820 Guest Call in Elkridge, has been charged with fourth-degree burglary, according to court documents. Officers were called to Rainbow Drive just before noon for reports of a suspicious person. Upon arriving, they saw Williams allegedly standing next to a shed that had been opened. Police said they then saw a second shed on the property had its lock removed, and they arrested Williams. He has a court date scheduled for April 21.

Saturday, Feb. 19

  • As a result of several factors including weather, by 5:30 p.m.
  • Anne Arundel police were conducting a routine check near Jessup at approximately 5 p.m. when they noticed an upside-down license tag that also lacked a registration sticker, according to officials. The vehicle was on the 2700 block of Annapolis Road. Upon further investigation, they found that the 2008 Toyota Camry had been stolen from in Catonsville in January 2010. Robert Burnett Johnson, 43, of Baltimore City, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of theft. He is scheduled to appear in court April 22.
  • Around 1 p.m., equipment was reported stolen from a shed on the 8600 block of Keeton Road in Elkridge.
  • At Europarts Express, on the 7400 block of Montevideo Road in Jessup, someone broke in through a rear window and stole catalytic converters. The incident was reported at 9 a.m., according to police.

Friday, Feb. 18

  • A overtook a home on the 6300 block of Loudon Avenue in Elkridge at approximately 11:50 p.m. Occupants escaped the two-story single-family house, two by jumping from the second floor. One tenant and a police officer were hospitalized. The fire remains under investigation.
