Ramp from I-95 to MD-100 Shut Down Temporarily
A tractor-trailer crash shut down ramp to Route 100 during rush hour on Wednesday.

The ramp from Interstate 95 south to MD Route 100 east was closed during rush hour Wednesday after a tractor-trailer crash was reported at 4:16 p.m., according to Howard County police.
One person was pinned in the tractor-trailer and was extricated by rescue crews, said police; the person was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Police said the Maryland Department of the Environment was called in to assist, which police said means there may have been a fuel spill.

By 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, the ramp to Route 100 east had been reopened, according to the Maryland Department of Transportation's Coordinated Highway Action Response Team.
