Redken Salon to Open on Route 1 in Elkridge

The sign outside Salon Allure says “Opening in August” and according to its owner, that’s Aug. 22, to be precise.

The salon on Business Parkway in Elkridge will offer hair, massage, skin and nail services and will be a Redken affiliate. It’s been in the works for a year and a half—during which time the business plan, finances, construction and design were finalized.

“I’ve done a lot of salons, and with the color, the layout here, I love it,” said Imre Nagy, of NC Flooring, working on the massage therapy room.

So far, 17 employees have been hired on staff at Salon Allure, a mix of seasoned stylists and new talent fresh out of beauty school, according to the owner, who did not wish to be named.

Hours will be Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Its website is http://salonallureinc.com. Eventually, clients can book appointments online but until that is added to the website, people can call 410-379-0482. Salon Allure is at 6785 Business Parkway, Suite 8, in Elkridge.
