Two Taken to Shock Trauma After Route 1 Crash
The collision was between a motorcycle and car.
Two people were taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center Saturday afternoon following a crash on Route 1 near the Howard-Baltimore county line, according to police.
Police said that at 12:06 p.m., a collision was reported between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle on Washington Boulevard at South Street.
As of 12:55 p.m., two people had been transported to shock trauma, according to police, who said the identities and conditions of the victims were unavailable.

Northbound Route 1 was shut down from Main Street to the I-195 exit as of 2 p.m.
