Vehicle Overturns on MD 100 at Exit Ramp to US 1
The driver was transported by helicopter, and officials shut down the exit ramp.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, a vehicle overturned on the exit ramp from MD 100 to US 1 in Elkridge, said police.
No information about the driver's condition or the collision was available. There were no other passengers in the vehicle, said police.
A Maryland State Police helicopter landed in the middle of MD Route 100 and transported the victim to an unknown facility.

As officials worked to clear the scene, the exit ramp from MD 100 east to US 1 south was shut down. Eastbound traffic on MD 100 was backed up from the crash site past the Meadowridge Road exit at approximately 2:30 p.m.
According to the State Highway Administration, the exit ramp to US 1 south should reopen by 4 p.m.
