Weapon-Wielding Duo Attempts to Break into Elkridge Home

A getaway driver and two men armed with tools were reported lurking around a residence on Montgomery Road.


Three men attempted to break into a residence on the 6100 block of Montgomery Road Thursday morning, said police.

At 11:10 a.m. on April 26, a resident saw two men carrying "a long-handled ax, long-handled saw and crowbar" outside the Elkridge home, said a report from the Howard County Police Department.

Meanwhile, police said a third man waited in the driver's seat of a light beige four-door sedan in the driveway.

The suspects did not gain entry to the home and left the scene in the vehicle, which had the number "12" written on the rear windshield in blue and gold, said police.

Video Game Console Stolen

At 9:48 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, an Xbox was reported stolen from a residence on the 6100 block of Old Waterloo Road.
