1K Pounds Of Meds, Sharps Collected During HoCo's National Drug Takeback Day Event

Nearly 1,300 pounds of medication and sharps were collected Saturday during Howard County's National Drug Takeback Day event.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Almost 1,300 pounds of medication and 24 bins of sharps were collected during Howard County's National Drug Takeback Day event at the Wilde Lake Village Center and at drop boxes Saturday.

Anyone who missed the National Drug Takeback Day event Saturday still can drop off unwanted medication - no sharps - any time, any day of the week at Howard County Police Department's stations or during business hours at the community outreach building or the Gary J. Arthur Community Center.
